• Serving the Chicago Metropolitan Area, Barbizon Midwest Modeling and Acting School is licensed by the Illinois State Department of Education
• Established in 1939, Barbizon International is the world's oldest and largest modeling school, acting school and talent agency with over 265 locations internationally.
• Barbizon Midwest's Chicago-based teaching staff is comprised of the finest modeling and acting instructors. All are industry professionals and are licensed by the Illinois Department of Education.
• Our Chicago area modeling, talent and acting class curriculums are continuously updated by Barbizon headquarters in Boynton Beach, Florida, ensuring our students the finest training available.
• Our programs include training for females, males, teens, and children ages four and up. Classes are limited in size for individual attention. Training includes runway modeling, photo posing for fashion and commercial print, TV commercials, acting and promotions. Also included are classes in self-improvement, self-confidence, and social etiquette.
• Barbizon Midwest has launched many acting and modeling careers, as our graduates are invited to join our talent agency "Royal Model Management". Barbizon Midwest graduates appear in local runway shows, fashion and commercial print, TV commercials, movies, trade shows and promotions. Barbizon Midwest graduates frequently grace the pages of Y.M., Seventeen, Vogue, Elle, Teen, Cosmopolitan, Shape, Brides, Glamour, and Mademoiselle magazines.

How We Work

Each individual who contacts Barbizon Midwest Modeling and Acting School for information will be called by one of our experts to learn more about you. You will be invited to attend a local audition to evaluate your modeling and/or acting potential. You will need to bring a non-returnable, non-professional snapshot or school picture with you.

As there are so many different types of modeling and acting opportunities available from petites to high fashion, television commercials, runway, fashion print, catalog and promotional, a personal interview with one of our experts will help answer all your questions.
